Note: The gigantic disc at grid 9°23'43"N 167°28'46"E however has nothing to do with the Missile Test Site.
It is the Kwajalein GPS Monitoring Station which is part of the original GPS Ground Segment infrastructure in the world.
Equipped with atomic clocks standards and GPS receivers it continuously collects GPS data for all the satellites in view from their locations.
The collected data is sent to the Master Control Station in the US where it is processed to estimate satellite orbits and clock errors, among other parameters and to generate the Navigation Message.
