Former RAFMelton Mowbray. Originally an airforce maintenance facility but in WW2 used bu RAF Transport Command.
Until 1958 used as a Polish camp housing Polish Air Force personnel and their relations.
From 1959 -1963 operating as a Thor missile site under IV Strategic Msl Grp / 254 SMS.
