AIR / NATO Finderup

Former NATO Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) at Finderup http://flyhis.dk/Dokumenter/PDF_filer/FLV%20Historie/CAOC_Finderup.pdf used to be one of 11 NATO multinational command centers responsible for planning, command and execution of all military air operations in its region both in peacetime and at war.
NATO decided in 2011 to close all CAOC's exept for the locations Uedem (responsible for N-Europe) and Torrejón (for S-Europe).
CAOC Finderup closed 2013 and is now only limited ops for national purposes,
