49° 27′ 24″ N 5° 24′ 40″ E Marville Montmédy has been constructed in the early 1950's by the former RCAF No1 Fighter Wing
Used from 1954-1966 by 439th and 441st RCAF fighter squadrons operating Sabres, Canucks and Starfighters until the French left NATO in 1966. Disbanded and units relocated to then W-Germany

Taken over by French airforce and until 1970 used as a training base
Then taken over by French army aviation operating helicopters until 2000
In the late 1980's converted into an Industrial park and civil airport
