- 10 Signal Regiment. A Royal Signals Regiment providing Information and Communication Services (ICS), Information Assurance (IA) and Electronic Counter Measures (Force Protection) in support of on-going and contingency operations, 10 Signals comprises of a Regimental Headquarters, 4 Regular Squadrons and 1 Reserve Squadron all dislocated.
51°25′39″N 2°12′23″W Corsham Computer Center (CCC) An underground MoD installation built in the 1980s.CCC used to support software maintenance in the Royal Navy nuclear deterrent Trident program until 2002.
CCC has been converted into an MoD metadata storage center obtained by the MoD Skynet 5 satellite system.
Note the Skynet 5 groundfacility at nearby Azimghur Barracks (Colerne)
Tis is the collecting point for all HF and cellphone data and voice communications in the UK.
