Dyagilevo Longrange ops base for Russia's strategic bomber force.
In 1955 this was one of 6 Soviet bases capable of handling Myasishchev M-4 bombers.
1967 it used 7 Tupolev Tu-22 for training.
1973 it received 2 Tu-22M0's
1985 the 49 Heavy Bomber Aviation Regiment (TBAP) arrived at Dyagilevo, flying Tu-22M's and Tu-95's and converting into an ITBAP (training regiment).
It was also home to 43 Heavy Bomber Combat Training Regiment (TSBAP) which included Tu-22M's, Tu-95MS, and Tu-134UBL trainers. .
994 it received 24 Tu-95K (Bear-G's) for disposal under the START II treaty.
