Stargard. Former USSR MiG-21/SU-27 nuc tasked airbase hosted Soviet 159 IAP operating MiG-21s (1963-1986)
Declassified docs revealed that the Soviet forces in Poland had an average of 160 nuclear weapons at their disposal; mostly freefall bombs of the 8U49 (5KT) and 8U64 (30KT) types. The 'specials' were dispersed at three Soviet airbases: Brzeg,Stargard and Kolobrzeg,

The on base Granite 2 facilities had enough capacity to equip a squadron with 8U49 tactical nukes.
After 1986 the base reroled to SU-27 Flankers without nuc capabilities.

Base decommissioned & Closed 1992.
