Former US Army European Troposcatter Army communications facility Hoek Van Holland (1960-1984).
The site was part of the US Army long-haul microwave network in the European area and was connected via Line Of Sight communications to the west to Martlesham Heath/UK and to the southeast to Stein/Germany.
Radio equipment required to meet system performance requirements consisted of 10-kW transmitters, receivers with or without parametric amplifiers and treshold extension, 15 or 30-foot antennas and four-fold space diversity
Closed 1984.
