US Army Ft Irwin; National Training Center
Activated in WW2 as Mojave Anti-Aircraft Range; renamed Camp Irwin; then Armored Combat Training Area; as of 1961 Fort Irwin and used deploying forces to Vietnam. As of 1972 California ArNG assumed responsibility and from 1972 -1980, Fort Irwin was used as a training area by the Army National Guard and US Army Reserve. As of 1981 transferred back to USAr as National Training Center

- 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment serving as the Opposing Force (OPFOR). The enemy for the military forces training at Ft Irwin.
