32°25'0"N 99°51'19"W Dyess airbase Texas http://www.dyess.af.mil/ Former WW2 airfield. Rebuilt in the 1950's and ops in 1957. The base hosted several Strategic Air Command tanker and bomber Wings but also a strategic (Atlas) missile wing and some miitary Airlift Cmd units. In 1993, 7th Wing activated at Dyess integrating the operations of the B-1B Lancer and C-130 Hercules. The wing reorganized in 1997as 7th Bomb Wing and gave operational control of the C-130s to Air Mobility Command. As of 2015 Dyess has been assigned to Global Strike Command. However its former nuc WSA at grid. 32°25'58"N 99°49'46"W is now a conventional bomb storage

- AF Global Strike Cmd / 8th Air Force / 7th Bomb Wing is providing combat-ready B-1B aircraft, crews and associate combat support for global conventional bombing. 7 BW is operating 36x B-1B Lancers and is composed of an Operations, Mission Support, Medical and Maintenance Group
- AMC / 317th Airlift Wing is operating 28x C-130J Super Hercules aircraft. 317 AW is composed of a maintenance group and an operations group with 2 airlift squadrons
