SIGINT Lovön

Försvarets radioanstalt (FRA), Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment, the national authority for signal intelligence (SIGINT) and cybersecurity consists of:
- 4 Fixed Swedish sites, Kåseberga; Faludden; Folhammar and Lovön
- a SIGINT Navy ship in the Baltic
- 2 Gulfstream IV Flygvapnet aircraft capable of extended missions collect all kinds of sensitive information.
Although denied by the Swedish government it is almost certain that the data is shared with NSA/Echelon.

In 2018 the Swedish Navy has laid the keel for its new special-purpose signal intelligence ship designed to replace the existing SIGINT vessel, HSwMS Orion.”
