A very early J-type spec ammo storage used for Davy Crockett grenades for US infantry units in the Munich area 1960-1964. Area was secured by US Army 508th Military Police Battalion based in the Munich McGraw Kaserne. When US forces started phasing out the Davy Crockett in 1963 the site was abandoned and 508th MP deactivated 1964. From 1966-1968 still used for some conventional storage but as it was very near to Munich facility closed in 1968. In the 1970's sold and now private property.
