This was the US Army 11th Air Defense Signal Batn C company radio relay on top of Melibokus Mtn.
Its multichannel relay facility provided 12 channel 4 wire PCM voice and data communications.
Tactical Air Defense command and (missile) control used the AN/TSQ 73 at the Batn and Bde Tactical Operations Centers.
This computerized system used C companies UHF Multichannel System AN/TRC 145 terminals and AN/TRC 113 relays to communicate the air picture, target assignment to the Improved HAWK batteries.
The site is deactivated and closed 1997.
