Idenheim; former USAF Mace 71st TMS launch facility "C pad" or site VIII. Equal to the Rittersdorf site this one was also a hardened MACE underground facility. After MACE closure the site was taken over by US Army and converted into a Patriot AD missile site operated by 5th Bn,7th ADA defending the Bitburg and Spangdahlem areas. Site closed 2001 and converted into a solar energy complex.
