USSR airbase Finsterwaldes former nuclear weapons storage.
Finsterwalde was hosting 559 APIB under command of 61GvIAK (Wittenberg) flying MiG-27 Floggers http://basilzolotov.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/mig-27-50-x.png

For immediate offensive action against NATO at the outbreak of war, in the vincinity of most former offensive (nuc) tasked Soviet airbases in E-Germany nuclear weapon storages like this one were situated. Well camouflaged in the woods at distance from the airbase, consiting of (Granite type) main bunkers.

The Granite type bunker was built of dirt covered curved concrete segments with overall length of 82 m and width of 44 m. It had 2 underground floors with the storage vaults, a loading dock, emergency powerunit, water and air purifying installations in the lowest floor. The floor above consisted the personnel shelter, heating, NBC filtering installations and airlock.
