Former USAr 4th Batn/6th Air Def Arty had 4 (nike) missile battery locations:
- HONTHEIM,
- WELSCHBILLIG, BRIMINGEN, BALESFELD (all dislocated)
This was the missile site Hontheim, former A-btry 4th Batn/6th Arty Bde. (1964-1969)
After its deactivation converted into a Hawk missile site operated by D-btry 5th Batn/6th Arty Bde and later D-btry 2/62 Hawk
Closed 1983.
