Former SAC base operating B-52's and KC-135's. In 1969 transferred to AETC and currently basing:
- 14 Flying Training Wing with
-- 14th Operations Support Squadron
-- 14th Student Squadron (academic & simulator trn)
-- 37th Flying Training Squadron (primary flight trn in T-6 Texan II)
-- 41st Flying Training Squadron (advanced trn in T6)
-- 43rd Flying Training Squadron ( AETC/AFRC Associate Instructor Pilot (IP) Program; Active Guard Reserve (AGR) and Traditional Reserve (TR) IP's
-- 48th Flying Training Squadron (tanker and airlift specialized undergraduate pilot training in Beech T-1A Jayhawk)
-- 50th Flying Training Squadron (advanced trn in the Northrop T-38C).
-- 49th Fighter Training Squadron (fighter trn for pilots and weapon system officers)
-- 81st Fighter Squadron (combat training for Afghan Air Force pilots and maintainers in the A-29 Super Tucano)
