Adampur Air Stn; ICAO: VIAX is currently a fighterbase operating overhauled MiG-29UPG's
This version (2011) is similar to the SMT variant but has a foreign-made avionics suite integrated within the "international avionics suite".
The weapons suite is similar to the SMT and K/KUB versions. Design is a modification for the MiG-29s of the Indian Air Force and includes a Zhuk-M radar, new avionics, an IFR probe as well as enhanced RD-33 series 3 turbofan engines http://www.combataircraft.com/en/Military-Aircraft/Mikoyan-Gurevich/MiG-29-Fulcrum/
