WW2 Fécamp

Former submarine base Fécamp, France was the first base operating Biber mini submarines under K-Flottille 261 as of july 1944. By the end of august K-Flotille 261 forced to abandon Fecamp. Most of the Biber were destroyed and abandoned and those which were taken away were subsequently destroyed in a night action.This marked the end of K-Verband operations in Normandy.The remaining Bibers were deployed to the Netherlands.
