Bedok Camp

Bedok Camp;home of 2nd Peoples Defence Force 21st Singapore Infantry Brigade. The brigade's history can be traced back to 1981, when it was founded. Formerly recognised as HQ 1 PDF Bde Gp, it was located at Beach Road Camp. The brigade was placed under 2 PDF when HQ PDF split to form HQ 1 PDF and HQ 2 PDF Command in 1985. The Brigade HQ was shifted to its present premises at Bedok Camp in 1990 and renamed as HQ 21 SIB. HQ 21 SIB is founded upon 10 ideals: Pride, Determination, Fortitude, Honour, Standfastness, Resilience, Security, Initiative, Alertness and Boldness.
