Milton Keynes Buckinghamshire - 299 Signal Squadron is under ARRC command and delivering overseas communications and command support to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on worldwide ops. Special Communication (SC) operators deploy on small, self-contained and self-sufficient communications detachments worldwide often in high threat and hostile locations. Alongside the SC Operator role there is the Squadron support element consisting of various ranks and trades within the Royal Signals.
