This unit operated a USAF troposcatter communications facility in the infamous "Cemetery" communications net connecting all NATO nuclear assigned units.

Sahintepe had both Troposcatter and Microwave connections with:
Corlu - power: 1Kw with AN/MRC80
Ortakoy -1Kw AN/MRC80
Izmir - 10Kw AN/FRC39
Ankara - 10Kw AN/FRC75
Secondaries: Alemdag, Karamursel and Eskisehir

Comms input was by 150W Collins single sideband radio equipment.

TUSLOG Det 150 was redesignated Detachment 12, 2006 Communications Group in the mid-1980s and closed in the mid-1990s during the overseas base closure program.
