Former location of 8th Missile Warning Sqn PAVE PAWS early warning radar. As a result of force structure cuts implemented in 1995 by Air Force Space Command, Eldorado AS was closed. Components of the facilities AN/FPS-115 PAVE PAWS Radar were transfered over to Clear AFS, AK to make up the new AN/FPS-120 Solid State Phased–Array System (SSPARS) which reached its operational capacity in 2001.
