The facilities at CAAA include 209 production buildings, a 72,000-square-foot (6,700 m2) machine shop, 1,800 storage buildings for both explosive and inert ammunition with a total capacity of 4,800,000 square feet, an 80-acre demolition range and 40 acres of ammunition burning grounds.
