Kabul Intl Airport (OAKB) a.k.a. KAIA. At first, KAIA was for the US and NATO ISAF forces only. After removal of UN sanctions, in 2002, it was partially opened for civilian flights. US and coalition forces run the military section of the airport and provide security there. The Afghan National Police and Afghan National Army are supposed to be in control of security inside and around the airfield.
