RAF Staxton Wold. Former WW2 radar station. First time use: 1937 serving in the Chain Home system. It is the only one of the original stations which still is in use and the oldest continuously serving radar station.
Current status: Remote Radar Head (RRH) within the United Kingdom Air Command & Control System (ACCS) using a BAE Type 93 radar
NOTE: This radar has been relocated to RRH Saxa Vord
